Life in BAWSTON

Ok...so this is my first blog post that anyone has ever seen. Hey Maddie...Hey Claudia...and hello family members who I give this address to. I just moved to Boston...I'm embarking on a dream to become a sports reporter...and I don't want to forget a thing...therefore, I am starting a blog.

Just to update everyone on my life so far since I've lived up here. My apartment is great..I love it..I will post pictures when I figure out how to do that. My roommate is one of the best people I've ever known in my life...and I don't know why we weren't best friends in college...but thats probably best...because she would probably be sick of me by now if we had been! And...most importantly...my first week has already consisted of...getting perfectly matching furniture in our apartment, self-installing the "THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE" wireless internet through comcast, having all my classes, searching for the best places to run, taking the T everywhere to find my way around, shopping with my parents for necessities in a box van, compulsively searching for babysitting jobs..and most importantly....meeting the NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK!

Ok..I'm not the biggest fan of them but Sarah is (my roommate) and as everyone knows...I was disgustingly obsessed with the Spice Girls so I can respect and appreciate those who also have sick obsessions--Like claudia's obsession with Herb the Perv, Meg's obsession with flavor pops, Looda's obsession with milk, Syd's obsession with lawn art/cheese and Stinky's obsession with my Dad. 

So...nonetheless, we woke up at 4:45am and took a cab to downtown Boston on Saturday morning...yeah, that was when that son-of-a- hurricane hannah wanted to come hangout with us all day was here...so we waited and waited and waited in the pouring rain...watching a bunch of crazies cry and obsess about the NKOTB all day....bought their new cd and finally went in to meet them. Donny is the best...hugged everyone...Jordan Knight is a selfish brat...thats all I have to say. 

And...luckily, I've made friends in my program at school already...I've never ever ever gona anywhere where I wasn't on a team...so I am REALLY excited I made friends. I love Emerson so much already...I'm sick of people continuing to remind me how poor I'm gonna be in this profession but other than that...I'm excited.
