Great News

Today was great. This weekend I got some shopping done...a lot of things I'm making for christmas not buying so those count too...and Jordan came with me and 2 of my friends from grad school and one of their husbands downtown. It was great...it was COLD but great. We ate new england clam chowder at Quincy market (my favorite place) and watching little performers in the streets and embraced the holiday spirit of boston! haha but seriously...it was great. I love my friends so much...they are great. When Jordan left...Valencia, Brooklynne and I went to Jillians (like a lucky strike type place) to bowl...never actually bowled but just talked about everything. Earlier we sat at this really authentic irish bar for 3 hours talking to brooklynne's husband...the FUNNIEST person I've ever met. Seriously...I love him. 

Yesterday...I "studied" for my exam today. I read through the book a lot and my notes...and then met up with Valencia to study. BUT TODAYYYY....I studied....did well on my exam!! Don't know the grade yet but it was good. I love the end of the semester...I spent so much time with my friends doing work but also just being with them...i loved it. So we all studied...and I found out that one of my friend's from college's COUSIN was one of my favorite proffesors in undergrad! Anyone reading this from dickinson;...Prof. Yost's cousin is my friend. Weird and awesome.

And...I got some GREAT NEWS. I was offered an Internship with the MLL!!!! (major league lacrosse). I've been waiting to say anyting on here about internships because I've been applying to a lot for the spring...and I've gotten some good ones but I was really really hoping for this one. SO..I'm very excited!!

Finally...I finished my website for my final project! And...even added an interactive MAP in like 10 minutes...which was very exciting because it wasn't hard and it will add a lot to the interactiveness of our website. 

OH...and ALSO!! Today started out great to begin with because it was 56 degrees today!!! I got to run outside this morning....my favorite thing...without wearing a million layers! So everyone that's on me about how cold it is up here...its still semi-bipolar weather...therefore we get some good days that make up for the cold!!

Alright thats it for now...I have a presentation tomorrow but then I am DONE with my first semester! I feel like i just got here...well I sort of did...but it's been great so far! I've learned so much and I can't wait to get into more multimedia stuff in January.
