So Boring

Sorry I haven't posted in a while...the chances that people still read this are likely 1 in 4,589 but whatever. I've been doing a LOT of work. Lots of lax talk... too much actually but it's fun. I went to the Brown game this weekend and saw them beat CORNELL. Suckers..it was awesome. Did some interviews after, the weather was awesome and it was senior day...which was sad for them but I got to see some of the alumni guys including Grant. 

The CAPS just won game 7 against the rangers...so awesome considering their first two periods were horrendous. 

I am finished with school in one week. I have my last class tomorrow night and then I have two presentations next wednesday! I'm reallllllly happy to be finished with the first year... one more to go. I've learned more this semester than I think I've ever learned in my life. It was all hands-on learning too, which is why it was so effective I think. I've gotten MUCH MUCH better reporting on both serious things and sports. Well, lacrosse I guess but sports in general kinda go along with that. I wanna work for ESPNU when I'm done. If you know anyone... tell them. I have no money and need some. 

Babysitting is going great. I played in a sprinkler today since is was 93 degrees!! Ate popsicles outside. Played with sidewalk chalk. Ate chicken fingers. Watched Cinderella. Pretty much everything I would have LOVED to do every day when I was younger so its all good stuff with babies. 

But the weather....What? How? Why? And I might add...its supposed to be a max high of 60 tomorrow. So dumb.

I did my final story of the semester for the Brighton Beat when I went to an Irish Senior club in Brighton. It was so cute. It was a huge hit for the Irish immigrants and just those with Irish heritage in the area. The Irish used to be dominant in the area and now they have fizzled out so they are all really happy to be able to get together every monday, read the Irish news, talk and have a guest speaker and an Irish sing along every week. It was so fun to be at. They were so so nice and it was probably one of my favorite stories to do.

Ummm...I'm in the process of finding a new apartment. It's terrible. I hate it but love looking at the apartments I would never be able to afford. The ones I can afford are usually carpeted, grungy looking things but I am confident that we'll find a good one. I just know it.

Sorry this is boring but for those reading that really just want an update on my life...here it is. This is whats happening. I'll write soon and hoepfully get back into gear with this.
