A Wedding, A Reunion

Before I started school for the semester, I went back home for one of my best friend's wedding. It was one of the most amazing events I've ever been to. Meghan had it on her farm behind the house in a garden. Months and Months of preparation must have gone into making this garden the most beautiful thing I've ever seen...or its just like that naturally. The ceremony was in the garden, then behind the barn (where I made friends with some goats) the reception was held in a huge tent. So so so pretty.

Hihn and Erin---Congratulations! And Abby, the dog, was the cutest flower girl I've ever seen.
My best friends:) And Colleen pretending she was part of the wedding party by wearing Navy.... good move, I like that:)
Now, I know nobody here KNOWS Meghan Hihn, but I have only seen this girl in sweatpants and jerseys through 5 years of friendship...except for when she was my date to formals and wore a black dress. She was STUNNING at her wedding:)
Bridesmaids. Including Meg.

The music for the ceremony.

Ok so they are posted backwards but you get the idea...it was awesome.

Next up on the schedule for my week at home was a Field Hockey reunion at Dickinson. It was so much fun to see all my friends and the girls that were young when I was still there. I miss competitive sports... a lot...after being there that weekend so therefore, I am now officially training for a half marathon. I've been trying to find a field hockey team to play for here, but apparently that doesn't really exists and it turns out I don't really have time at night to do anything with school and babysitting. Therefore, I will be training by myself in the mornings when I have a little bit of free time and for now, I'm trying to heckle Jordan into doing the half with me. We'll see if I can conquer that.

Sadly, this is what I look like when I run more than 3 1/2 miles at this point in my life...so doing the half BEFORE the full marathon is a good idea I think.
