If you haven't bought into the fad yet, think about it. And then, do it. You won't be disappointed. Over the past two years, my social life and spending habits have been dictated by the glorious deals that come from this site.
There are LOT of other sites just like it, but Groupon's my favorite.
If you don't know how it works, here's a quick breakdown. You sign up and you receive a daily deal directly to your email This can be anything from a discount on a high-end restaurant, a package deal coupon to a hotel, a deal on yoga classes, discounted tickets to sports games and, you get the point. It is amazing. Each coupon comes with an expiration date so be sure to take note of it and don't let it expire! You are required to purchase the coupon that day, for example, I have a groupon for Cafe 47 in Boston. I paid $15 up front on the day of the deal and have 6 months to use the groupon that is worth $30 of food!
