48 Days to Go!

High school buddies at the Couples' Shower:)
I've been reminded (every day, I might add) by theknot.com that my wedding is coming up and I am behind! I have lots of work to do, which seems utterly ridiculous considering I've been engaged for 10 months now and I was about 80% FINISHED with this wedding planning 7 hours after Jordan popped the question. But, that's neither here nor there now is it? The reality is, I need to get my act together and I am going to be right here blogging about it.

If I had a nickle every time I said or thought that I wish I didn't have a job right now and could JUST plan the wedding and immerse myself 100% into it, I'd be a rich lady. But, that's not the case so here's a little update on my life.

I started a new, awesome job at work. I'm still with the same company, but I'm now doing SEO marketing and I'm having a lot of fun so far. I JUST started on July 5th, so it's been quite a hectic few weeks leading up to that and ever since as I'm a COMPLETE head case and one of the most nervous humans that's ever walked this earth. But, my heart rate is finally beginning to stabilize. And, I'll be starting a BLOG on the Care.com website so I'll keep everyone posted.

Back to wedding planning, Jordan and I had our final pre-wedding celebration together last weekend in MD! My aunt Betty Anne hosted an awesome Couples' Shower Fiesta! That picture up there is the only documentation my camera has--I'll post more once I get the good ones:) Jordan broke the pinata after the first attempt, baby Flo was a hit and I ate pounds of Rio Grande queso and 4 million cupcakes from "Baked by Melissa." It was a success all around and so much fun!

Check back for updates on what we'll be doing over the next 48 days:
Morgan:
Dress Fitting
Writing/crafting for table setting stuff
Operation: fix my birds' nest of hair
Field hockey season
Bachelorette Party!
4 million thank you notes
Jordan:
Lax season
Vegas
Make sure we're prepared to leave the country for the honeymoon!
Watching me write thank you notes:)
Both of us:
Operation: Stop binge eating, work out more and try not to be too gross for the wedding
Stop getting burnt from the sun and looking like tomatoes
Write our VOWS and write them soon!
Ceremony completion
Marriage License
DANCE LESSONS! (My dream world, Jordan's worst nightmare)
....keep being good at our jobs so we don't get fired (this is a lifelong goal)

...and probably a lot more things that I'm not remembering, which is what got us in this predicament in the first place!
