I'm Back?

Ok, I've said this about 100 times but I am going to try and start documenting the POSITIVE points of my life more often...or at least updates at all. My schedule has been crazy since I last posted--- since then I've seen Jordan win about 16 awards that have all been AWESOME, he got drafted to the MLL (woooo!!!), he graduated from college and then, as per usual, he left to be even farther away from me. Imagine that. He's home, I'm here. It's all the same really as we are now going on 5 years of this long distance bull crap. But whatever... some day we'll be in the same place I guess. Who knows.

But enough about him....more about me:) haha this is my blog afterall. I am now in full swing with a more full-time schedule. In case anyone is wondering I am standing strong with a 3.9 GPA in grad school so far. Hopefully the Law and Ethics class I'm in now won't damage that. But, as I've said before, there is a REASON I am in a field that merely involves me reading and writing and not needing to regurgitate necessary information about anything important. Nonetheless, the class is good expect for the time. I got to class from 6PM to 10PM Mondays and Wednesdays which comes right after a full day of work. Not so fun. But, I'm interning still with the MLL and am having a good time. There have been some glitches here and there where I have had some issues but the work itself that I am doing, I couldn't be happier about. I'm also babysitting a lot more hours a week which has been great for everyone. Unfortunately, my favorite baby (the signing one) now calls me Mommy sometimes but thats merely because she can't say my name AND she thinks that "Mommy" means "Give Me" which, as we all probably know....usually does for kids.

I've made some major life decisions like the fact that I no longer think I will stay in the field of lacrosse when I venture out for a real and paid job. Reasons being mainly that it will be hard for me to gain true and honest respect writing about a league or sport that Jordan is playing in. I mean, it's fine that I do it as an intern but, I'll just look like a loser and a biased writer if I stay in it any further than that. I DO still however want to do college sports... and I wanna live somewhere cheap and warm:) So...when I find that paradise, I'll let you know. Until then, I'll remain in grad school until I'm finished next May.

On a SERIOUS NOTE: If you are reading this, take NO MORE TIME and PLEASE make your way to the movie theaters to see The Hangover. I am not kidding when I say it was the funniest movie I have ever seen in my life. I've never laughed harder...no, not even at Ace Ventura or Dumb and Dumber when I was younger.

Also, two of my good friends from college are now in Boston and it's been SO fun to have them here. We played lacrosse together so its been awesome ot have them here. What's even better is that they live just a few blocks from me AND their complex has a pool. If you know anything about me you'll know that I LOVE the fact that the pool is on a mere slab of concrete in the middle of the parking lot. Hey, anywhere I can get a tan works for me:)

Alright.... I'll see what I can do about updating this more often. For now, just go to majorleaguelacrosse.com and look for my name--- I've written about 6,000 articles over the past 3 weeks it feels like.

OH...AND I turned 23 while I've been away and my mom made me an AWESOME ice cream cake and Jordan's aunt Kathy made me a Carrot Cake as a surprise and of course, my FAVORITE lemon cookies! They were both delicious...and I ate too much as usual.

Check back for a post about Zumba--- my new favorite thing.

Congratulations on your grades. You got your brains from me! Sounds like your baby best friend is a lot of fun. Maybe we can get her to teach Megan so I can communicate with her!
