Shelburne Farm

My whole life, I associated the fall with school and school made me nervous. However, there was something comforting about fall activities like apple picking where we would have "gleaning day" every September at Norwood, we had the King Picnic at Smokey Glen (right? is that what its called?), and we went to Butler's Orchard with my cousins to ride the hayride and get our pumpkins. These activities meant the weekend and the weekend meant I got to be with my family and being with my family was one of the only things that always comforted me. So today, since I have no family here, I went with my new "family," my friends from school who I'm very comfortable with and Brooklynne's actual family and I was comforted from some of the stresses of school. School makes me nervous, it always has. But Orchards are AWESOME. And so is the Fall. Enjoy some pictures of Shelburne Farm.

Foliage
Apples that had barbed wire around them...I guess they were being bad.
Sam and Toby, the dog with his new fall coat on
One Lone Apple.
There were a hundred of these...all really funny.
Shocking, I look dirty.
I love Orchard rows. I love getting pictures in them. There's something great about the precision of the rows that makes me love it so much. And those apples, the Cortland apples, THEY are my new favorite. I didn't even know what those were before.

Now, I must go back to the real world of studying, writing papers and finding stories. All of which still make me nervous.
The End.
