Summer Activities

With Jordan being a Professional Athlete and all, we really don't have much time to experience a Boston summer together. He is either traveling for games on the weekends, practicing all day Saturday/playing Saturday night or I am home in MD for the weekend doing wedding things (or at the Beach doing nothing like this past weekend). But, I have to say that we are some of the most efficient fun timers I've known. We make the most of the time we have in the sun both on the week nights and the weekends. We may be considered "boring" to our more night-life-centric friends but we can "party" too, ok? We would just rather go on hikes/runs, go out for ice cream, play in parks, eat ice cream again, play tennis, eat things, explore the city with our time, and of course, find awesome ice cream places.

One of these wonderful days came a few weekends ago when Jordan and I took the ferry to explore the Harbor Islands. We traveled over to Spectacle Island and walked the paths, read about the history of our beloved city and I, for one, pretended it was far warmer than it was (as always).
Lounging with a giant Starbucks Iced Latte while waiting for the Ferry

Always wearing his Cannons gear just in case he gets noticed. What an Ego.

So what if I NEVER take showers after I go running and pretend that it's socially acceptable to look like this in public all the time.

Learning...this particular panel sparked a long, stupid conversation by us about how the HECK they build tunnels!? Tunnels through deep water? How? Why? At which point, I started having irrational worries about the deep sea and space. Go figure.

Me: "Take a picture of me running down this cool path! I want to paint a picture of it!"
Jordan: "Um, what? Ok. Go Ahead."

Watching the hula-hooping contest on Spectacle Island.

Thoughtful.

Another staged photo...that's what I do best. However, I would LOVE to take in this view every morning after a long run before work.

"Spectacle" Island....get it? Anyone?

The BIG CITY!!!

Coming back into the wharf at Columbus Park...my favorite place:)
