Moneyball

Three words: Go See It.

I don't like hyping things up for other people in fear that they won't agree. So, don't take this too seriously but I absolutely loved Moneyball. I haven't read the book, even though it feels like it's been the next on my list for years. There is something about a sports feature that I just can't help but fall in love with.

Brad Pitt does an awesome job as Billy Beane. Jonah Hill is reserved, awkward and the on-screen chemistry between him and Pitt is the bomb. I love them. I still hate baseball just as much as I did before. I still hate the big wig players just as much as I did before. But--I feel for the hundreds and hundreds of others who bust their butts and never get a chance. AND, I love any story about the underdog. So, if you love Miracle, Coach Carter, Invincible, We are Marshall, Remember the Titans, Glory Road, Fighter, the Blind Side (ok, a lot of those are not the same at all), or any film remotely similar to those as much as I do, it's worth the ticket price. Let me know how it goes.
