Miss Independent

That's right, I got to watch and listen to Miss Independent herself live. It was the most amazing concert I think I've ever been to. Jordan is quite possibly the most amazing man of all time and bought these SWEET tickets online for me us.:)

It felt like we just kept walking...I couldn't believe that we were so close. The 10th row. Amazing.

I can't put into words how much I love Kelly Clarkson and how much I REALLY love her opening act, Matt Nathanson. He was also phenomenal live and had some serious energy.

While he didn't sing any of my old school favorites (like, literally from his first album when I was 12 and nobody knew who he was), he was incredible.

Kelly sang all of it and I probably smiled and squeeled as much as I did when I met the Spice Girls. She is so normal and the venues she chooses are all small (I saw her at the Wang Theater in Boston, where I graduated from Emerson). She sang all of her new stuff and finished with Miss Independent and I'm pretty sure I started crying. I love her. She is the ONE constant artist on my ADHD running playlist. She is what I love most about running-- weird right?

Jordan thinks I have real issues but he agreed that she is unbelievable live.

I'm not just saying that.
Here are some more photos. Please see her live if you can and if you don't have the same love for her that I do... what are you doing with your time? Download all five albums right away.

Oh, you know when you LOVE a duet and it is really lame live? Check out how she performed "Don't You Wanna Stay?" up there with Jason Aldean. SO cool. It was like he was there. I think I cried during this too.

So sue me.

I love you Matt Nathanson. I really love you Kelly Clarkson. And I SUPER love you Jordan Burke for taking me out (and paying for) one of my favorite dates in 8.6 years:)
